What is #ThursdaysInBlack ?

In place of my normal blog this week, I want to highlight the work of Ecumenical Women at the United Nations (EW), especially in our fight against sexual and gender-based violence.

It is a privilege and honour for me to work with such powerful proponents for justice.

    I recently corresponded with a girl who I believe was a victim of racism. It reminded me that multicultural Canada still has work to do. I don't have many black clothes and don't go shopping, but will do my best to find some. I believe in what the movement is trying to do and support them.
